Civitan International is made up of over 1,000 clubs in more than 30 countries. Through local Civitan clubs, members form a global network of community leaders who learn more about the world around them, meet like-minded individuals, and serve those in need.
Civitan is a worldwide, all volunteer service organization, where men and women have an organized way of approaching local community problems with a special emphasis on helping those with developmental disabilities.
To build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization of clubs dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
